our story

At our family-owned and operated hunting Lodges you are welcomed as a guest and return home as a good friend.  The Weinreis family wouldn't have it any other way.  The Weinreis's connection to the Dakotas dates to the early 1900s when their grandparents traveled from the Midwest and settled in the southwest corner of North Dakota.  

Today family remains a top priority for the Weinreis' as they continue their heritage together in farming and ranching now in the fourth generation.  Pairing with John Burrell's High Adventure Company, the management team for the lodges, they join together in sharing their family values of working hard and taking time to enjoy each other and desire to show you that in your experience at Cheyenne Ridge Outfitters.
